St Just boasts an attractive market square, with a clock tower, church, shops, restaurant and pubs, which serve quality bar meals, all within 5 minutes stroll of the cottage - the ideal place to spend your evenings.

St Just has recently achieved Heritage status and is becoming well known for its Art Galleries and local artists. Formally a tin mining community, St Just is a colourful, friendly, traditional Cornish town that is well worth a visit both in and out of season.

Golf at Cape Cornwall

Within ¾ mile of the cottage is the 18 hole Cape Cornwall golf course, which affords spectacular ocean views. The course is a challenge for the club golfer and low handicap golfer alike and is open 7 days a week all year. Tel 01736 788611 to prebook your golf.

Beaches

Less than a mile from the cottage there is some stunning coastal scenery. Priests Cove at Cape Cornwall is a pebbly beach with a children’s paddling / swimming pool carved out of the rocks. Porth Nanven and Progo are beautiful sandy beaches. All are within walking distance of the cottage (20 mins stroll) but are also accessible by car.

The Surrounding Area

St Just is ideally located for exploring West Penwith, with its breathtaking coastline and pretty villages. It is just 8 miles from Mousehole, the picturesque and charming harbour village made famous by its Christmas lights.

St Just lies 5 miles from Lands End and only 7 miles from the beautiful beach at Porthcurno and the Minack, an outdoor theatre which has been carved into the cliffs.

The stunning beach at Sennen Cove is 4 miles away, while the busier resort of St Ives is just 13 miles away.
